Are you new to Ichiban? To do things like submit and vote on stories or post comments, you will have to log in to an account. The nice thing is that since Ichiban uses Google accounts, you probably won't even have to create a new account. Just click the Login link at the top-right of this page and you will be taken to Google's standard sign-in page where you can log in using your existing Google account, or create one if you don't already have one. Then you'll be taken right back here to Ichiban so you can try out some of our cool features.

Once you log in, you can access the Settings page via the link at the top-right of the site. There you can choose a handle, which is the name that other users of Ichiban will see when you submit stories or post comments. By default, your handle is set to the nickname associated with your Google account, and it's up to you if you want to change it or not. Changing your handle on Ichiban will not affect your Google account nickname.
